There is an extensive choice of restaurants, pubs and cafes all within a 2 mile radius of the house:
Our local pub, The Green Man, serves food 7 days a week from 11am until 9pm and does a fabulous Sunday Roast until 6pm! This pub is a 5mins walk from the front door so ideal for those of you who enjoy a glass of wine with your meal! This is a family friendly pub who also have a good childrens menu
In the village of Meopham (approx. 2 miles) there is a highly acclaimed restaurant, The Kings Arms, where you will find both the food and service faultless.
Opposite the Kings Arms is the best Gastropub for miles, The Cricketers, which is part of the Hammond and Whiting chain. Do not let this put you off! The food is fresh in every day and the chefs are genius.
Along the main village parade you have Indian, Chinese, Fish and Chips and a lovely coffee shop The Blue Cow which does 'proper coffee' and the most fabulous sandwiches and cakes which are either homemade or sourced from local suppliers. A little further along the village is a really good Italian Restaurant.
Heading the other direction into Longfield, there are again several Indian and Chinese restaurants and takeaways. There is also a kebab shop and Dominos pizza. Monroes is another family friendly restaurant
"Super. Everything was fantastic. Clean modern room with excellent shower. Good individually cooked breakfasts using local produce. We'll definitely stay again"
How lucky we were to arrive at Orange Hill knackered after the trip south. First class rooms, quiet location and superb breakfasts made for an excellent stay. The offer of fresh milk for the post arrival brew raised my first impressions considerably as did the quality of the toast and no bloody margarine, another plus"
